Tummy Tuck Before & After Case 31

This patient is a 36 year old woman 5’7″ tall with three children. As can be seen in her ‘before’ photos she has stretch marks on her abdomen that extend far above her belly button. She has skin excess especially in the center and a wide separation of the abdominal muscles. Looking at the appearance of her pubic hair you can see how her whole pubic area has ‘dropped’- something that many women complain of. The appearance of the pubic area, as seen in the after photos, is much more desirable. Signifiant tightening of the abdominal muscles and aggressive liposuction of her sides gives a result that makes her look much thinner. Her breast surgery adds to this change as well as her breast lift was performed in a way that also increases the appearance of width of her chest- this makes her waist and hips look narrower. This is a perfect example of a case where paying attention to body proportions gave a much better result than if all we dealt with was the abdomen.
