- One of the most important differences between an average breast reduction and a more refined breast reduction is what is done with the remaining breast tissue. In many cases, Dr. Newman changes and supports the internal breast shape rather than simply removing tissue and closing the skin.
- Large breasts often have stretched skin and tissue that has settled downward over time. If the remaining tissue is not reshaped, the breast may look flat, wide, or bottom-heavy after surgery.
