Breast Lift with Augmentation
About This Case
Dr. Newman’s Comments: This patient is a 34 year old woman who wanted breast augmentation. Her pre-operative appearance showed an asymmetry in size with the right breast being slightly larger. As expected, the right inframammary fold was lower and the lower pole of the right breast was fuller. Simple breast augmentation may have made her happy although it would have magnified some of the asymmetries. An asymmetric breast augmentation was performed with a slightly larger implant on the left. The fold under the left breast was lowered compared to right. A dual-plane technique with fixation was used to elevate the right side compared to the left. This internal technique has the big advantage of leaving no additional visible scars. This patient was originally seen in my Manhattan office. Her surgery was performed at my private surgical center in Westchester, NY.
